Here is my first atempt at using photo story. It's pretty simple. I will be adding more layers, depth, and information. I hope I can embed small videos in photo story.

Digital Photo Fun

Here are a few examples from my digital photo shoot. I shot outside on a very sunny day in late afternoon. The cat is a creepy alarm clock that someone gave me. The bottles are filled with water and food coloring. The shoes are by Rocket Dog. I got so inspired I shot over 40 pictures!

Assignment #1

This photo collage illustrates the evolution of street art. Long gone are the days when street artists merely spray painted their tag names in difficult to read self-designed fonts. Street artists are the avant guarde artists in the contemporary art world. Artists like Obey (Shepherd Fairey) and Twist (David McGee), have gone from running from the cops to being embraced by hot galleries in LA and New York. Other artists use mosaics, LED kits, and knitting to create their own public art. In addition to the new materials used in street art, artists are also turning their attentions toward social issues; politics, war, and popular culture are changing the way street artists create.
