Here is my first atempt at using photo story. It's pretty simple. I will be adding more layers, depth, and information. I hope I can embed small videos in photo story.
Firstly, I just wanted to say that I wish I could draw but even stick men are a challenge and I am so very jealous :)
The digital story is really good and you have managed to add some external music as well (which is cool).
There are a couple of images where the picture breaks out of full screen and you get a couple of black bars down the sides. Personally I don't like that effect too much but that is just a matter of personal taste in creating the stories. There are some of the slides which transition very quickly when they get to the text explaining them and perhaps for those it may be better to start at the text and then pan to the image.
There is a technique you can do using 2 copies of the same image in Photostory where you can hold one image still and focused on something and then create movement with the second image to allow for things like concentration on text.
Overall a really great first crack at a digital story and nice solid subject. Good job!
Thanks Hal. I must admit I was a little of afraid of all this new technology, now I'm excited to learn more. Yes, the black bar thing is a concern. I'm a vertical person in a horizontal tech world. . .The music is by Pink Martini.
